Hey gang,

A few of our Hunger regulars had the opportunity to preview our Bible study and so far it’s been well received. If you’re thinking, “Hey, I read this last week.” don’t worry you’re not suffering déjà vu. We decided to move the start to this week. Please feel free to join us after the LIFETEEN Mass.

Hey gang, just wanted to let you know I'm updating the website a little, changing the calendar codes, maybe updating the theme. so the page may look and act a little funky for a short bit.

Remember when our parking lot looked like this? January 15, 2007

That seems like a pretty long time ago to me; time sure can fly. If you missed yesterday’s meeting it went pretty good. It might have seemed chaotic, but really things were very free flowing and productive. We planned our calendar for the next month and I’ll be posting that soon. As per the norm lately things migrated to a place to eat afterwards.

Hunger for January 14th, 2007 January 10, 2007

Filed under: Business as Usual — Eric The Tired @ 5:39 pm

Hey gang, As we settle back into ordinary time this is a great point to join together for an evening of prayer and discussion. So stop on by the Catacombs after Sunday’s LIFETEEN Mass, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and reflect on the new year ahead of us.

Hey gang,

It’s that time of the month again, Thirsty Praise and Worship night! The men and women behind this are doing a great job! We’ve really enjoyed these nights and we’re sure you will too. This event takes place in the church starting shortly after the LIFETEEN mass.

Next week is Christmas Eve, so we’re not holding a post LIFETEEN mass event. Hope to see you at Midnight mass though.

Peace,
Eric and Elisa

Wow time flies! December 1, 2006

Well folks considering a little over four months have passed since the last update to this site I guess we're due. It's been quite an interesting fall and as we enter winter I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone involved in Hunger, the leaders, the members, and the entire St. Andrew the Apostle family for their continuing prayer and support.

I said this past Sunday at the LIFETEEN Mass that I'd update this site with December's calendar information. I'll have that on here in a little bit.

Becoming Skilled at the Art of Catholic Self-Defense.  It can indeed be an art to know how to answer questions or defend your faith when you are a Catholic.  This presentation will cover some skills that might be helpful when you are "attacked" for being Catholic.  We'll also talk about some resources or plans for getting to the answers for those times that you realize you really don't know the answers.

Changes Afoot July 3, 2006

Filed under: Business as Usual — Eric The Tired @ 6:08 am

Hungerstuff.com will be undergoing some changes; moving servers, changing blog platforms, etc. While this is mostly behind the scenes there are a few major changes to expect.

Most Important: Instead of www.hungerstuff.com just redirecting you to hungeryam.blogspot.com it has it’s very own hosting. This means that if you have saved it as a favorite place you need to add it again, and if you currently subscribe to us with a feed-reader of some sort you’ll need to update that as well.

These changes are being implemented to better serve you, but during this transitional time the site may face some service blackouts, and general odd behavior. We thank-you for your patience and continued involvement with Hunger.

Peace,
Eric
